Standard Policies
Refund Policy:
In order to confirm your order and secure your date a non-refundable, non-transferrable retainer is required, which is 50% of your order total. The remaining balance will be due 30-45 days prior to your pickup or delivery date. Once your cake has been picked up or delivered there will be NO REFUNDS, of any amount, under any circumstances. The quality of your cake, including but not limited to texture and flavor have been tested prior to pickup or delivery and determined exceptional based on our standards. Once the cake has been picked up or delivered, the safety of the cake is no longer the responsibility of The Luxe Cake Studio. Please follow cake care instructions.

Creative Control and Design Policy:
As a cake designer, I do not replicate designs of another artist, I will however accept inspirational pictures to help inspire an original cake design. In some cases the design/style of cakes may be so simplistic in which we aren't able to deviate much in effort to achieve the desired vision. Please review my social media pages to get an idea of my level of skill, quality of work, and style. As the artist, I reserve the right to deviate small details as needed in effort to achieve the best end result. Book an artist you TRUST!

Course Refund Policy (Luxe Cake University Students Only)
In order to reserve your course date, a 25% non-refundable, non-transferrable retainer is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the agreed upon course date or your course date will be cancelled and retainer forfeited. Business Consultation fee is due in full and is non-refundable and non-transferable. If a weekday course cancellation is requested at least 2 weeks in advance, you may request a refund of the course cost, minus the 25% retainer, or request a reschedule. If a Friday or Saturday course is cancelled, giving less than 30 days notice, any and all funds paid for your course will be non-refundable. You are allowed one date reschedule if at least 2 weeks notice is provided.

ALLERGEN WARNING:
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. We are not a nut-free or allergy friendly bakery. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions. All cake and treats are to be consumed at you and your guest own risk.

FAQs
Do you offer tastings?
Yes, tastings are offer 1-2 per quarter. In order to keep our prices reasonable, eliminate excessive waste, and reduce cost, tastings for private kitchens and home bakeries are offered differently than a storefront with a case of rotating cake/cupcake flavors. Our tastings are currently offered as take home boxes and bridal consultations are virtual. Each box includes 4-6 rotating flavors. Boxes are not customizable; however, we can consider specific flavor requests if requested far enough in advance and tasting options have not yet been finalized. Please keep in mind we have to consider the palette of all interested clients when selecting flavors. Visit the "Tasting and Consultation" section of our website to reserve your box.

Do you offer whipped or American buttercream?
No. All of our cake are filled and covered in a Swiss Meringue buttercream, which is a perfect balance between the two. Swiss is smooth like whipped (no sugar grit) and not overly sweet like American.

Can we visit your location for tastings and to discuss our cake?
No. We operate in a private kitchen; wedding consultations are virtual by appointment only and tasting boxes are curbside pickup.

Do you offer cake stand rentals?
No, we do not offer rentals but can provide a list of trusted vendors.

Do you offer vegan or gluten-free options?
Not at this time. We have considered offering these options but there is not currently a high demand.
